Watching *The Father* felt uncomfortably familiar. Anthony Hopkins’ extraordinary performance reminded me of my own dad, who lives with dementia, and the complicated emotions that come with watching a parent change. It was heartbreaking, deeply personal and, strangely enough, comforting.
