Solitary butterfly flitting by
In the garden, and amongst the trees
Hovering over honey suckles, daisies and lilies she does fly
Solitary butterfly likes to dance with the breeze.
Decked in vibrant colours and the rarest of hues
Solitary butterfly brings the garden alive
Her beauty is reflected in the delicate drops of dew
Solitary butterfly ignites with love every flower alike.
Moving silently without a sound
Solitary butterfly in a flash is gone
The sun is shining, beaming yellow and round
The garden is blooming but solitary butterfly is gone, gone, gone!
Fleeting moments of joy, if you'd have paused a while you might have seen
Solitary butterfly in intricate ways- making your world gleam.
