The breeze is young, and the glades of grass sway together
The fiery globe suspended in the sky throws a wash of soft orange onto the vast field.
Dandelions fly merrily- along with the breeze they have someplace to go
Butterflies flit erratically over the yellow coneflowers that gently bob their heads-
Their colours are nature’s very own kaleidoscope.
Birds croon softly, settled snugly in their nests,
Heads hidden within the shelter of their wings
And the crickets begin their unified chorus, the music that would grace the evening.
Faraway horizons show silhouettes of vast mountains standing like protectors of the green world
And from a bare spot, an odd Juniper bush sends a wave of woody breeze along the prairie.
The breeze is young and rejuvenating, healing to the soul.
The aromatic Juniper breeze, bringing back memories of a little backyard
Where bushes and bluish-purple Juniper berries grew –
Bringing a zephyr of pine like freshness all around then
And now- Juniper breeze completing the evening.

Loved that finish with the finesse! Juniper breeze complete the evening! I loved the imagery and how you painted the surreal evening amongst the bushes and woodlands.
