Every moment tells us: memento mori

The Odyssey Of Your Life

I’ve heard that life is a metaphor
but
maybe
you don’t need to decode it
just live through it like art
raw and real
through mistakes and lessons
but full of colour.

Maybe
the Odyssey of your life is inside the shoebox under your bed
that you’re too afraid to open.
Take a phantom step before the real one, if you will.

Maybe
you don’t have to understand it all
you just have to be you!

maybe
you think you’re done
but you’ve actually just begun.

Maybe…
you know
Maybe.

For me, life is a mystery. It’s a mystic take of truths, unfolding every moment to you. Loved the concept of calling life a metaphor. Maybe life is revealing its true meaning slowly to us. Lovely lines Leha.

I believe that too, it unfolds slowly and beautifully if we care to observe.

You have a very soothing, gentle and soulful voice Leha. First I read the poem and liked the idea of life being something under the bed in the shoebox. And when I heard it, it came crashing gates of my heart.
    Kudos to you.
