The paint brush hovers over the palette,
The palette that has a multitude of colours
And then dipping into a deep blue
The colour spreads onto the white canvas, dousing it with serenity.
A vibrant green of abundance blends into the blue,
The hope of a striking yellow sparks a bounty of joy
And the brilliant red rages a fury of passion.
The energetic orange bubbles with vitality,
A dash of purple gives the rainbow a royal finale.
The dark black trees stand like mysterious shadows,
Pure ivory moonlight embellishes them with elegance.
Over and over the paintbrush glides on the canvas,
Each layer making the beauty stand out even more.
Transforming the canvas into a work of art,
Just the way the colours of life make you and me who we are.
