It happens in the most unexpected ways.
When you’re going about your daily routine
When you flip through your planner, writing down the tasks for the day
When you’re working
When you’re eating that last piece of chocolate
Or sipping from a mug of hot coffee as you gaze out the window
As you brush your hair
Or take a walk in the park.
It happens in the most unexpected ways
Maybe when you’re in the shower,
Or even as you’re running late on a busy day
Maybe when you look in the mirror and draw a dark line of kohl on your lid,
Searching for something you lost, you peer into your own reflection.
It happens in the most unexpected ways-
As you lay in bed late into the night
And, when you finally drift into a restless slumber.
It happens in the most unexpected ways-
One day you open your eyes
One day, something clicks,
On that day, you know you’re free
And on that day
You just know that you’re far from the shallow now.
Nice poetry

Yes, such liberations happen unexpectedly. But once they happen we are glad that they did
